Minimum Experience in your own field (NOC starting 51 and 52) -2 years

When applying to immigrate as Self-Employed Person the relevant experience means:

• • At least two one-year periods of experience in the period from five years before the application date to the day a decision is made on the application.

Experience must be in one of these areas:

• • self-employment in cultural activities or athletics or,

• • participating in cultural activities or athletics at the world-class level

You must have a worked full time continuously in your own fields for at least two years in the last 5 years

OR

You can have two full-time experience of one year each in eligible occupations role in the last 5 years before applying
